The Grafton County Commissioners will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday June 6, 2017 at 10:00am at the Commissioner’s Office, 3855 Dartmouth College Highway, North Haverhill, NH 03774. Community Development Block Grant funds are available to municipalities through the NH Community Development Finance Authority. The County had applied for, and was awarded, CDBG funding for the construction of a new Friendship House Facility, 2957 Main Street in Bethlehem, New Hampshire. The Friendship House is a drug treatment facility that serves primarily low and moderate income persons. The subrecipient at the time of the CDBG application was proposed to be Tri-County Community Action Program. Since that time, it has been determined that a different subrecipient would be better suited to acquire the property and undertake the project. AHEAD Qtr., Inc., a division of AHEAD, Littleton, NH is the proposed new subrecipent for this project. This hearing is to discuss this proposed change of subrecipient to AHEAD, Qtr., Inc.

For persons with special needs, provisions can be made by contacting the Commissioner’s Office telephone (627-5602) or mail, at least five days prior to the public hearings.
