Tom Howe, Senior Director of Land Conservation at the Forest Society, will give a brief presentation to the Bethlehem Conservation Commission on the Forest Society’s possible acquisition of a significant tract in Bethlehem including 1.8 miles of frontage on the Ammonoosuc River. Recognizing that the landowner and Forest Society have not yet reached an agreement on a sale, Tom will provide a preliminary overview of the conservation features of the property and in general terms how the Forest Society anticipates using the property. The program is open to the public, and will be held at 7pm, Tuesday, May 14th, at the Bethlehem Town Hall.
