Bethlehem is looking for a volunteer to help represent the town as a commissioner to help oversee the North Country Council, the non-profit, regional planning organization.
The town has two commissioners. One of those positions is vacant.
The North Country Council says it needs commissioners who are “energetic, passionate people to build community networks and act as change catalysts while overseeing the mission” of the council.
Commissioner’s responsibilities are to oversee the mission of the North Country Council and “keep it relevant to the needs of the region and its communities.”
Commissioners attend should:
* Attend monthly North Country Council Board meetings.
* Participate on as a member of committees on various planning and organizational topics.
* Publically support the work of the Council in Regional & Community interests.
