Bethlehem Board of Selectmen
Meeting Minutes
March 26, 2018

Present:  Chairman Moritz, Selectman Boisseau, Selectman Moore, Selectman Ubaldo.

Chairman Moritz opened the meeting at 6:00 pm.

Chairman Moritz went over the Country Club RFP’s for realty and appraisal services.  Or lease was added to the realty one after selling.

The Board reviewed the pole attachment agreement and an agreement with Bethlehem Events to adhere to the pole attachment agreement.  Chairman Moritz read the mission statement for Bethlehem Events and said the Board members are Jack Anderson, Angel Larcom, Casey Bonilla, Phil Bell and Heidi Vaughn.  Chairman Moritz said the town has to sign the agreement with Eversource like it has been done in the past.  Chairman Moritz moved to move forward with the pole attachment agreement.  Selectman Moore seconded.  Carried 4-0.

The Board discussed a weather policy that was discussed at a prior meeting.  Chairman Moritz said some minor edits (Change # of FT employees to 5 instead of 4, parking restriction dates, etc.) have been done so the Board can now vote on it.  Road Agent, Brett Jackson, said the policy is pretty standard.  He said he went to a meeting and was told we should have a policy.  Selectman Ubaldo asked Mr. Jackson how long it takes to go through their plow route once and was told 2.5 hours and cost approximately $1400.00 each route.  Chairman Moritz moved to adopt the weather policy.  Selectman Ubaldo seconded.  Carried 4-0.

PUBLIC INPUT

Peter Roy said Ronney Lyster passed away and asked for a moment of silence.  There was a moment of silence.

The Board reviewed the minutes from 03/19/18.  Chairman Moritz moved to approve the minutes.  Selectman Boisseau seconded.  Carried 4-0.

At 6:20 Chairman Moritz moved to go into non-public session per RSA 91A:3 II for matters of personnel and legal.  Chairman Moritz did roll call with all members agreeing to go into non-public session.  Dann objected to the non-public session.

The Board discussed personnel. Selectman Ubaldo moved to approve raises for the police officers as budgeted.  Selectman Moore seconded.  Carried 4-0.

At 6:35 Selectman Ubaldo moved to come out of non-public session.  Selectman Boisseau seconded.  Chairman Moritz did roll call with all members agreeing to come out of non-public session.

At 6:35 Selectman Ubaldo moved to adjourn.  Selectman Boisseau seconded.  Carried 4-0.
