Bethlehem Board of Selectmen
Meeting Minutes
July 23, 2018

Present:  Chairman Moritz, Selectman Ubaldo, Selectman Moore, Selectman Boisseau, Selectman Glavac.

Chairman Moritz opened the meeting at 6:00 pm.

Chairman Moritz said three CPA companies were contacted and asked to submit rates and availability to look at financials.  One company said they were unable to do it at this time, one company did not respond, and the third company responded with rates and availability.  Selectman Moore moved to hire Matt Angell.  Selectman Boisseau seconded.  Selectman Glavac said it is not unusual to have 1 bid.  Selectman Ubaldo said he would like to hear from other companies.  Selectman Glavac said they didn’t have time.  Carried 5-0.   The Board will follow up with their attorney to let her know they hired a CPA and ask if the meeting with him should be in public or non-public.

The Board reviewed a sign permit for Diane Breen for the Rusty Bucket.  Selectman Boisseau moved to approve the sign permit for Diane Breen for Rusty Bucket.  Selectman Ubaldo seconded.  Carried 5-0.

The Board discussed a request from Mountain Music Winery to write a letter for their liquor license supporting the sale and tastings of wine at the farmers market.  Selectman Glavac moved to write the letter of support.  Selectman Boisseau seconded.  Carried 5-0.

The Board reviewed the request from Above the Notch Humane Society to hold a one-day beer festival and allow beer tasting.  Selectman Boisseau moved to approve the request.  Selectman Moore seconded.

The Board discussed the advice from the attorney on the easements from DOT and all agreed to go with attorney advice.

At 6:16 Chairman Moritz moved to go into non-public session per RSA 91A:3 II for matters of personnel and legal.  Selectman Boisseau seconded.  Chairman Moritz did roll call with all members agreeing to go into non-public session.

The Board discussed personnel.

The Board discussed legal advice.

At 6:54 Selectman Glavac moved to adjourn.  Selectman Ubaldo seconded.  Carried 5-0.
