TOWN OF BETHLEHEM
Planning Board
Wednesday August 8, 2018

BETHLEHEM TOWN HALL MEETING ROOM
Minutes
6:00 pm

Present: David Rodrigues, Marie Stevenson, Johnathan Stevenson, Chris McGrath and Linda Moore
Absent:  Dave Wiley and Mike Bruno
Chair David Rodrigues opened the meeting at 6:00 and read the Agenda.
The Rusty Bucket Conceptual: Guider Lane (continued from 7-25-18)
Diane and Rebecca Breen were asked to provide the board with a business plan.  The Breen’s are seeking a waiver from Site Plan, due to: not being a change of use.  This is a continuation from the July 31, 2018 meeting.   The board agreed to her business plan.
Chris McGrath made a motion to waive The Rusty Bucket from Site Plan. Marie Stevenson second 5-0 motion passes
Closed continued conceptual for The Rusty Bucket.
Mary Moritz asked the board if there was a criteria that every conceptual follows.  Are you asking the same for each applicant?  Is there a checklist or do you just go on a case by case basis?
Don Lavoie said there are many people/businesses that have not filed for a Site Plan.  The town does not go looking.  Mary Moritz wants to be sure that all potential businesses that would like to proceed with a conceptual be treated to the same checklist.  Mary Moritz would like all legal correspondence to be shared with the entire Planning Board before a hearing/meeting.  (if possible) The board agreed.  Don Lavoie reminded the board that if a checklist is added to the conceptual it will have to be noticed.

Specs on Town Roads will be on the September 12th Planning Board meeting.

Don Lavoie explained some of the things going on with Bethlehem Re-imagined.  Parking wars downtown.  Ballot Counter raffle, and new downtown parking signs. Flower gardens at the Country Club.  He is still wondering about the Sinclair lot.
He would also like to see RV parking signs on town owned property.

Minutes from July 25, 2018 David Rodrigues motion to accept mins.  Marie Stevenson second 4-1 motion passes.  Linda Moore abstained

Next Planning Board meeting will be September 12th at 6:00pm

Marie Stevenson motion to adjourn.  All in favor 5-0

Meeting adjourned

Respectfully submitted
Debbie Bayley
Planning/Zoning Clerk
