6:00 pm
Present: Mike Bruno, Marie Stevenson, Johnathan Stevenson, David Rodrigues, and Mary Moritz
Absent: Dave Wiley and Neil Brody
Mike Bruno opened the meeting at 6:00pm. He then read the public notice for Arlington Hotel (Sawyer Deck). Mr. Bruno stated that the Arlington contacted the planning office to rescind their application for the deck. They are just not ready at this time. If in fact the Arlington chooses to reapply they will have to start the application process all over again.

The board discussion was about the Site Plan Review matching the Town Ordinance. In some instances they do not match. Debbie Bayley will contact LGC (NHMA) for how and what takes precedence. The board feels as though our Zoning Ordinances are the correct answer. The board can be less stringent than the ordinance but no more stringent.
Mike Bruno would like to start a committee to go over the Site Plan Review and Zoning Ordinance word-for- word. To stream line the application process, in some cases to eliminate certain verbiage not in line with the boards practice.
Committee members will include: Mike Bruno, David Rodrigues and Marie Stevenson. Mr. Bruno would like to include Dave Wiley at his discretion.
Chris McGrath asked if the board looked at the House Bill 514 he mentioned at the June 21, 2017 meeting. Mr. Bruno told Chris McGrath that he had read over the bill and read it to the board at the July 26th meeting. It deals with alternates on pubic boards. There was not anything to change about the way the board is currently operating.
Gravel Pits will be set for inspection on Tuesday the 12th of September, Thursday the 14th of September and Saturday the 16th of September.
There was a discussion about how many pits there are.

Dann asked how many pits there were. The answer was four.
Scott Lequere asked about the Arlington. He was told that they have withdrawn their application.
Rita Farrell asked about alternates. Mr. Bruno answered as to have them staggered for one every 3 years. He feels as though one is enough at this time. We have a full board with 6 board members with one ex-officio from the select board. We only need 4 to make quorum.
Dann asked who is LGC (NHMA). Mike Bruno answered that the town pays a fee yearly for legal counsel.
Next meeting is set for September 13th, 2017 at 6pm
Marie Stevenson motion to adjourn Mary Moritz seconded 5-0 motion carries.
