Meeting Minutes
Bethlehem Selectmen Office
October 9, 2014
Present: Selectman Blanchard, Selectman Fiorentino, Selectman Culver, Selectman Glavac.
At 6:30 pm acting Chairperson Blanchard opened the meeting.
The Board discussed the minimum bid amount for 2111 Main Street for the upcoming auction. The minimum suggested by the auctioneer was $40,000.00 but the cost for the clean-up of the site is $43,087.91. Selectman Culver moved to make the minimum bid $43,100.00 on 2111 Main Street. Selectman Fiorentino seconded. The Board discussed the repurchase price which is $174,000.00 and determined it could not be sold for that. Selectman Culver said based on the market and the zoning ordinance it will be hard to get any more than the minimum bid amount. Carried 4-0.
Chairperson Blanchard moved to sign the agreement for the auctioneers. Selectman Fiorentino seconded. Carried 4-0.
At 6:39 Chairperson Blanchard moved to adjourn. Selectman Fiorentino seconded. Carried 4-0.
Chairperson Blanchard said the Board will be having phone legal consultation at this time.
