Live Music at Bretzfelder

Join us for the kick off of our Bretzfelder Park summer series with live music from local group DC3 on August 3 at 6 p.m.

DC3 brings together Dennis Cote, Rick Erwin and Chris Cote. When listening to DC3 you will hear jazz standards of the American Songbook as well as other pop hits that caught the bands attention.

Dennis Cote has been entertaining in local venues for over 30 years. He has been a member of several local bands as well as a solo artist, singing and playing piano and guitar. He is also performs with the Swing North Big Band as a member of the saxophone section and as oboist with the Lakes Region Symphony

Chris Cote returned home to the North Country after studying music composition at McNally Smith College in St Paul MN. He jumped right back into performing with his dad and other local bands at local venues and events. His ability as a trumpet player, improviser and singer really add another dimension to any of his performances. Chris is no stranger to Bretzfelder Park as he has performed at the venue with The Barnyard Pimps as well as a guest artist with Adam Reczek.

Rick Erwin has played drums at clubs and resorts all around New England and cruise ships all around the world. He was in the house band at the Balsams for 25years. He is currently working as a drummer for the American Steamboat Company and has been playing music up and down the Mississippi River for the last five years. Rick has also been a piano tuner for the last 15 years.

Owned by the Forest Society, Bretzfelder Park is managed in cooperation with the town of Bethlehem. The Park, bequeathed to the Forest Society in 1984 by Helen Bretzfelder in memory of her father, Charles, houses a classroom, educational trails, a pond and several picnic sites.

Two series of educational programs are held at The Park each year, one in August and the other in February/March.
