Supervisors of the Checklist

Town of Bethlehem

Public Notice

New Hampshire law requires that the Supervisors of the Checklist verify the checklist every ten years. Any person on the checklist who has not voted in the past four years (since April 1, 2017) must re-register to remain on the checklist. The Supervisors are sending notice letters to these voters at the address the voter provided when registering.

The Supervisors of the Checklist for the Town of Bethlehem will hold a session to determine which voters will be sent a letter on:

          Date: Wednesday, June 30th 2021

          Time: 3:00 – 4:00 PM

Location:   Bethlehem Town Hall, 3rd Floor Meeting Room, 2155 Main St., Bethlehem, NH

A session will be held to accept applications for re-registering voters who have received a letter on:

          Date:  Wednesday, August 11 2021

          Time:  3:30 – 4:30 PM

Location:   Bethlehem Town Hall, 3rd Floor Meeting Room, 2155 Main St., Bethlehem, NH

Registration and re-registration may also be done with the Town Clerk during regular office hours up until August 11th.

The Supervisors will also be accepting applications for new voter registration, requests for the correction of the checklist, and/or change of political party affiliation at these times.  Voters may check party affiliation on-line:

https:/app.sos.nh.gov/Public/PollingPlaceSearch.aspx

Applicants for registration or re-registration who possess proof of identity, age, citizenship, and domicile should bring that proof when they come to register.  Qualified applicants who do not possess proof or who do not bring proof with them may still register if they sign an affidavit attesting to their qualifications for identity, age, citizenship and/or domicile.
