Golf Committee minutes – Thursday, May 26th, 2016 @ 6:30 pm (3rd meeting)
Present: Patsie Bonardi, Larry Fellows, Jerry Blanchard, Victor Hoffman, Clare Brown, Jane Storella, Pete
Rivers, Ned Johnson.
Discussion prior to my arrival is not in minutes.
Victor Hoffman is concerned about the wording of the warrant article and that it is placed on the agenda posted in the post office. His concern is that the wording indicates that the committee will be saving the
people of Bethlehem tax payer dollars and that is not the case as the BCC is a special revenue account and does not use tax dollars. Gerry will ask April to take the wording of the article off the agenda for future meetings.
Patsie Bonardi asked if there would be a sign for the restaurant and Larry stated that one would be up
tomorrow. She also asked what the name of the restaurant was and she was told she would find out tomorrow when the sign up. She felt that the committee was part of the naming process and was somewhat puzzled that it already had been named.
The list that we are to work on will not be compiled until the next meeting. This list is a summary of
suggestions from the committee as to what needs to be done. When the list is done, is will be discussed and Gerry will have Larry go over it, to make sure that they are things that can be done. The committee is looking for short term projects to improve the club this season and looking forward to long term projects to continually improve the club.
Ned Johnson noted that Larry has done a great job in the three months he has been at BCC; painting the
inside of the club house and many other projects that needed to be done and have been neglected.
Minutes for last week’s meeting and this week will be sent to committee members directly by the Recorder.
A change of meeting day will be taking place as some members cannot make Thursday night meeting any longer.
Minutes adjourned at 7:30 pm
Recorder, Clare Brown
