Yogi Tea

Servings:

Ingredients:

10 oz water
3 whole cloves (beneficial to the nervous system)
4 whole green cardamom pods, cracked (digestive aid)
4 whole black peppercorns (blood purifier)
1⁄2 stick cinnamon (strengthens the bones)
1⁄4 tsp black tea
1⁄2 cup milk or non-dairy alternative
2 slices fresh ginger root (healing for colds, warming, increases energy)

Directions:

Bring water to a boil and add spices.
Cover and boil 15-20 minutes, then add black tea.
Let sit for a few minutes, then add the milk and return to just boiling. Remove from heat immediately, strain, & sweeten with honey if desired.

For a stronger tea, use extra ingredient(s) of choice and allow it to sit overnight. Reheat and strain the next morning.
