Oatmeal Scones with Cranberries

Ingredients:

1 1⁄2 cups all-purpose flour preferably King Arthur Flour
1⁄4 cup sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
1⁄2 tsp salt
1 1⁄4 cup old fashioned rolled oats
1⁄2 cup dried cranberries
1 large egg
1⁄2 cup milk
10 tbsp unsalted butter, melted and warm

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 450°F.
Line large ungreased cookie sheets with parchment paper.
Whisk together dry ingredients followed by oats and cranberries.
In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and warm butter then add it to the other ingredients.
Transfer to a lightly floured surface and pat dough into an 8’’ round by 3⁄4 thick.
Cut into 8 wedges and place on a cookie sheet at least 1⁄2 inch apart. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
