Cross Country Skiing
There’s nothing like the workout of cross-country skiing! From groomed trails to backcountry treks, northern New Hampshire is a dream for Nordic skiing enthusiasts. Many of our community trails convert to Cross Country Skiing trails during the winter months, where visitors are free to spend the day exploring our winter wonderland before heading into town to warm up with a cup of tea, coffee, or hot cocoa.
Bretzfelder Park

Franconia Village X-C Ski & Outdoor Recreation Center
The Franconia Inn maintains over 65 km of cross-country skiing trails. Most trails are single track width. Trails wind through various terrain including forests, meadows and over brooks. See their website pricing and rental information.
